I forced the kids outside into the cold and damp for a zippy 5-minute portrait session the other day with some of my new camera toys.
I don't recommend letting your subjects keep a big wad of bubble gum in their mouth, but it's easier than bickering about it.
Can you tell he's quite finished?
Considering how rough they looked in real life (no hairbrushing on Saturday morning, Mom!) I was pleased with how these turned out.

And little Pup was not to be left out.

God, these are great. Your kids are magical looking and the photos enhance that. The dog's not bad either..LOL
