it isn't always easy to share your heart with others. you run the risk of looking the fool. but i'll always choose to be the fool over the lonesome sad sack. it is scary at times to live life wide open and fully engaged. but the rewards are miraculous moment to moment Joy.
when i was dealing with breast cancer, i was truly forced to face my fears and battle it out. in that i became free of so many other worries that had burdened me for so long. fear of speaking up, fear of showing up, fear of being myself. as i continue to grow each day i still struggle with choosing what is right over what is on the tip of my tongue or what is popular. but with love instead of fear, the choice is easier to live with in the end.
wherever you find yourself today, i hope you will be brave to live your life as you feel it in your spirit, in your heart, and in your dreams.
