Did you know that the The Twelve Days of Christmas song was written in 1780 and is one of the most popular and most recorded Christmas songs of the last century? Well, it is.
And with Jackie Allison's ornament making lovely music on this Third Day of Christmas, I'm sure to be humming all day long. Okay, that was really corny, huh? You try writing something about the 12 Days every year that is original. Wheeee!
Here's her ornie all wrapped up in a gilded holly covered fabric bag...
Inside is this fab treasure!
She a wonderful bisque doll head attached to a flower-like design of vintage tin (I can't remember what these pieces of tin were used for. She is so very cool).
And dangling from this sweet little girl is a star shaped metal chain and a chandelier crystal. She's gorgeous! Thank you, thank you, Jackie! I can't wait to put her on my tree (way up high away from little puppy teeth!)!
And, here's verse for you today. I really need to hear this one so I'm putting it out there for you all, too.
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
