It doesn't have to be
the blue iris, it could be
weeds in a vacant lot, or a few
small stones; just
pay attention, then patch
a few words together and don't try
to make them elaborate, this isn't
a contest but the doorway
into thanks, and a silence in which
another voice may speak.
There's much to be thankful for in this beautiful life. I hope that you find time to celebrate with much Joy and Thanksgiving whether you are gathered together with your family or curled up on your couch with a book alone.
Hold open your heart during these special days, smile at all the strangers you come across, sing loudly as you drive, hold hands with someone small or big, make an after-dinner walk into your own Thanksgiving Day parade. Take time to acknowledge the blessings you have and share your bounty with those with less.
I am thankful for you, my friends. Wishing you many blessings!

Happy Thanksgiving to you too.. I am so happy that we have had the opportunity to meet this year.
