My friend, Amber Dawn, has declared today as International Charm Day. So I'm joining along with her and celebrating jewelry creations such as those Ruth and I made along with our friends in A Charming Exchange.
a few of the charms submitted for A Charming Exchange
One of the very first charms I ever made was for a charm swap Ruth hosted at MMCA.

I added an image of my grandmother's eyes and the word remember to the back of a Japanese beetle wing along with a tiny bell. My grandmother had recently passed away and I wanted to pay homage to her in this way.
Ruth went on to create a blog called Just Simply Charming with step-by-step instructions for each of the 25 charms in the exchange. And since today is International Charm Day you might want some inspiration so head on over.
Happy Arting!
