seriously, these are the sounds in my house as i sit here and listen. children running. the man of the house making the sorts of foods that the man makes (the woman doesn't like those sorts of foods given out to the little people. only the man gets away with it). the cat is being loved, toys are being found. it is the most wonderful jumble of noise.

What a great post - I know just what you are talking about! Our house is fulled with the sounds of neurotic dogs barking at nothing in particular, guitars, keyboards, laughter (always laughter), the ever-running washer & dryer, lacrosse balls hitting the garage...
I can't imagine life without the noise, and I wouldn't have it any other way...
