I am re-reading old books, eating too much junk, creating a family recipe altered cookbook, blog surfing, fighting boredom and going to the gym to run miles on the treadmill every other day. I took down all of the Christmas stuff today. The house feels so much cleaner and saner now.
Oh, and I love, love, love the black cowboy boots with the skulls etc. Where did you find those?

lol....xander has the same skinniness problem...the boy is soooo little...can almost get my hands around his waist!!! but then you have miss j-lo butt maddy...lol...and built like a brick house maxx...(dont' wanna butt heads with that little linebacker...that loves to carry around maddy's hannah bag...lol)
all we can say is thank goodness for those stretchy strips that reign in the waist band to MAKE THE PANTS fit xander...then he wears these supersize tshirts over them...lol

I am reading the book I got for Christmas, its called "A Charming Exchange." My niece ordered it for my from my Amazon wishlist and it is terrific! And I am looking at ultralite kilns - my husband is buying me one so I can do some PMC jewelry!

Let me know what you think of Roth's book. His other Zuckerman novels are interesting as well. I haven't read the latest though. I hope you get some of those kicks for yourself. If anyone can pull off wearing zany and artful s(*t kickers, it is you! : D

Still have the Christmas stuff all up. We usually leave it there until after the New Year. I've been playing around with a new look for my blog--don't know if I'm happy with it yet. Reading, reading and reading more.
I got the Twilight series for Christmas and I'm addicted. Soon though,I've got to get back into my studio and create some lovelies to put up on Etsy. Other than that----nothing.
Hugs,
Carolyn

We celebrated our final Christmas (for this year anyway) last night. I wonder how many cookies one girl can eat, lol. Good lord. I did get a Dancing w/the Stars exercise dvd and tried doing it yesterday......not pretty, I think I might have 2 left feet.
These boots totally rock. LOVE them, all of them. And you big hearts are divine.
Happy New Year!!!

I always know where to come for a smile. Kelly, you something else :) So sorry I didn't get to see you while in OC. Oh, I hope someday I'll be able to really breathe while down there. If there were no doggies in my life, I could have bigger wings.
Happy New Year my friend.
love,
joanna

Love the big-hearted earrings! I'd get the boots (any or all), 'cause who could resist? I'm eating way too much chocolate in the form of Death by Chocolate cookies, better when my friend Clessie makes them for me but still pretty good when made by me. I'm going to have to roll myself to the car to do my errands later!
