Hi, Hi! I had a couple folks email me to ask how to make a Sleigh Crash martini so I'm listing the recipe here for you. and, for the last day of the orni exchange, we need the other king...Elvis!
Sleigh Crash Martini
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Raspberry Sour Puss or Raspberry Pucker Liquor
Cranberry Juice
Wet rim of glass and dip in white sugar.
Add 3 cranberries in the bottom of martini glass.
Serve Immediately.
I'm also going to make another martini that I have renamed Blitzen's Bliss.
I'm test driving it today.
It is soooo yummy!
But be careful with these because they taste so good you might forget your head (or something worse). And they're strong. I cut the alcohol in mine down to one third of what this calls for and it is still strong to me. But, like I said before, I'm a wuss.
Blitzen’s Bliss
1 shot Disaronno
1 shot Kahlua
1 shot vodka
1 shot single cream
1 shot milk
Shake with ice and strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a dusting of nutmeg. Add more milk to make a longer drink.
Enough about cocktails and back to the ornaments!
Today, December 12th, is the last day for our ornament exchange. It surely has been great fun. And once I get my tree up it is going to be a battle to find a place for all these beauties. I am a bit of an ornament addict. Every year I have to leave a few off to accommodate all the new ones.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. Day 12 brought me this cutie from Danita.
i'm digging the wrapping that can be torn open in one swift rip!
And inside...
was this adorable little pink pixie! isn't she so adorable?! and i guess the Q stands for quiet because it will be much more quiet now that we are all finished. but only a few more days until Christmas. and there are parties and singing and many more martinis to come before then. so maybe not so quiet.
thank you, sweet danita, for this precious addition to my round-up of ornies! thank you each and every friend for all the fun and to all of you for joining in the ornament cheer with me!!

Blitzen's Bliss may be the drink that gets me blitzed- sounds yummy!!!
