We hurry through the so-called boring things
in order to attend to that which we deem
more important, interesting.
Perhaps the final freedom will be a recognition that
everything in every moment is "essential"
and that nothing at all is "important."

and maybe this isn't important or even essential but it makes me happy so there's that. i'm finally paying it forward with something i made after winning some beautiful earrings from tonia. i've decided that you can have the heart-tied necklace above, the one on the right, even if you do not have a blog. but you do have to agree to pay it forward by making something with your own two hands and giving it away for no reason other than to be kind. and giving something for a birthday present doesn't count. it has to be just to be nice and make someone else happy. if you do have a blog, i hope you will share your give away but that is up to you.
so, in order to be in the running for this sweet little heart-tied necklace, you need to leave a comment on this post telling me of one of your very favorite blogs or websites that is not art related. and, to borrow something fun from linda, tell me what you had for breakfast.
you have until Thursday, June 5th, at noon, PST to leave a comment. after that time, i'll use the random number generator to pick a winner. be sure that your website or email addy comes up with your comment. if i draw your name but cannot contact you, i'll draw someone else. yes, i know, i'm fussy like that.
